There is no shortage of incredible spring flowers to choose for gardens, the list goes on and on!
Anemone nemerosa ‘Alba’
A real spring beauty. This variety is very vigorous, low growing, creeping and hardy to zone 4. The foliage dies soon after flowering and is a great candiate for naturalizing.
Primula vulgaris ‘Miss Indigo’ is a gorgeous double flowered primrose. Vigorous in habit, with large, scented, double deep rich purple flowers with creamy white tips.
I saved the best for the end. Sanguinaria canadensis or more commonly know as blood root. The single variety is lovely but this double form is over the top beautiful. Depending where you live, sourcing out the double form could be a challenge but well worth the effort. Will bulk up well over time.
